Tilt-and-slide and folding doors can solve wide or complex openings. They are made to measure and require careful review of dimensions, weight, hardware and operating conditions.
A tilt-and-slide door combines ventilation and sliding: the leaf moves out from the frame plane and then travels sideways. It is useful when perimeter compression sealing is wanted without the full swing space of a balcony door.
A folding door uses several articulated leaves that stack to one side to free a broad part of the opening. It works particularly well for porches and indoor-outdoor transitions when the configuration is viable.
Not every size or location can accept these openings. We check the complete assembly before quoting.
